a must-have for climbing in SD

Bought it used as it's out of print but it was in great condition. It's a must-have if you don't want to carry around a bunch of loose sheets. If you don't want to buy the book though, you should know that all the topos are available at: [....]

misinformation advisory

Please be advised that there is misinformation in this book, at least on page 29, that I am aware of. The fee to get into Dixon Lake property is $5.00 per vehicle on weekends and holidays and during special events (it is free otherwise). It has been this price for at least a few years, when it went up from $3.00 on weekends and holidays. It is ILLEGAL to go off trail or climb at Daley Ranch. While there is a lot of recreation going on at Daley Ranch, with miles of trails to hike and/or ride, it is still a preserve. Trail maps are available at the trailheads. Thusfar, visitors found to be in places other than a designated trail are in violation of Escondido Municipal Code, and will be cited. Please help us protect this beautiful place for all to enjoy.
